Thanksgiving 2013

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family this year at Peggy's house.  On Wednesday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Baggett's house where Erica and Amy were also visiting.  We love seeing cousins and grandparents!  It was fun to visit with them.  The next morning Carter, Caleb, my mom, and I went in to Peggy's house.  We got to visit with family and eat yummy food the whole day.  Black Friday started Thursday evening this year, which was annoying.  It is too bad that Thanksgiving day has been opened up for shopping.  Needless to say, we did not go this year.  I remember when I was little getting up and going shopping with my mom, Kadi, and my Aunts and cousins early Friday morning.  I miss the fun we had getting up while it was still dark to wait in the cold outside stores for some awesome deals, and then going to eat McDonald's for breakfast and snack on a chocolate orange throughout the morning.

I am glad we have a day set apart to remember our many blessings.  I am so grateful for my family and the gospel in my life.  I am grateful for our home and health and faith, and I am so grateful for Michael, Carter, and Caleb.  As much as I loved going to Buhl for Thanksgiving, I was bummed because Michael had to stay in Rexburg for work.  I foresee an Ongesel family turkey dinner in the near future to make it up.  :)
