Carter Is Five

Visiting the Zoo with Dawn and Brooke!
Mom's birthday dinner.  Love these boys!

"Hey mommy? Can I nibble on something?"

-  Carter.    This kid is adorable.  He is cruising in his reading, loves to make turkey wraps, pickle sandwiches, and build with anything from legos to tangrams.

These pictures are pretty scattered but all from January and February 2016.  Happy days!

Nine weeks prego with baby #3!!!

Japanese caves in Hagatna!

We can't just find shells at the beach...  We also have to find pea pods and seeds.  :)

Hair cuts!

Summer 2015

This summer was great.  This whole year has been pretty great.  The highlights of the summer were my trip back to Idaho for Kadi's wedding and moving to Maite.  I loved getting to go home to see family and friends and of course celebrate an awesome wedding for Kadi and Ryan.  The move to Maite was also good.  We miss our Talisay ward but enjoy be a part of the Barrigada ward too.

Here are some pictures from the last few months:

I love Dallin and Kadi.  It was so much fun to go paddle boarding with them in Idaho.  I love that place!

I love my little brother Tanner.  What a fun kid!  It was fun to visit and hang out with him when I went home.

Girls' night!  No makeup.  Sleepover in Rachel's room!!

Not the best picture - and I am not good at selfies, but it does show my haircut.  Thanks Mom!

Puntan Dos Amantes - Two Lovers Point.  Sunday walk with the boys.

Talafofo.  Sunday walk on the pretty beach.

These two brothers are adorable.  I love seeing them play on the beach.  They are so close and such characters.

Brothers again.  How adorable is that!  This is at Ypao beach.

This is what homeschool looks like at our house.  Coloring and scribbling away.  Carter is especially fun to watch as he learns to write and create his own pictures.

Power outage.  They happen frequently but Caleb loves to see candles.

Congratulations to Ryan and Kadi!!  It was so fun to all be together!
Here are some pictures that I actually printed.  I need to get better at that! They show the boys outside playing and exploring.  Those are the days I love the most.

Fish, Shells, and Creeping Things (May 2015)

Genesis 1:21-22
"And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind... and God saw that it was good.

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas..."

The ocean is full of fish and "creeping things" that we love to explore.  It is also vast and rich with beauty and majesty.  What a beautiful and intriguing world we live in!  God is the Great Creator!

Puffer fish.

"They can be friends!"  - Carter

Two star fish for two boys.  Pure joy.

Sea Urchin.  Big ones.  :)

Shells.

Star fish. Sea cucumber.

corals.  Lots.

Corals full of creatures and fish.

Star fish and coral.

Big shells.

April and May 2015

April and May flew by.  Here are some pictures.  :)

Caleb.  Sea shell.

Marbo Cave.  The cave was sweet although not enough light to get decent pictures.  We need to go back again to swim there but we are nervous because when we got back to our car our mirror was broken off and five other cars vandalized too.  Dumb people.  :(

Near Marbo Cave.  We got to see a sea turtle come up out of the water for one of their rare breaths of air.  Such an awesome place!

Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet Caleb.  He is still so cuddly and easy going.  We are very blessed to have him in our family.

Sunday naps are the best, especially when cuddling with Caleb.
Jacky (Michael's cousin) and her family came to visit - but I don't have the picture with her...  So fun to see them!

Carter shoes.

Grammie sent bubbles!  Thanks Grammie!

I have a spaghetti squash addiction.  :)  Carter and I loved making Spaghetti Squash Spaghetti with turban squash in our homemade veggie sauce!  Yum.

Love seeing these guys play together.  Carter loves telling Caleb how to build everything and Caleb is just excited to have some track to run trains on!

Forts around the couch with pillows and blankets and dressing up are an almost daily occurrence at our house.  My living room is rarely clean....  :)

"Daddy can you carry me?"

Ritidian.  Seriously the most pretty beach on Guam.  It is so pristine and scenic.  When it is high tide it is also breathtaking because the waves are so dangerous and beautiful.

Carter hides in the jungle at Ritidian while Michael, Caleb, and I take a picture.  Who has time for pictures when there are pirates in the jungle!?
At the marina in Hagatna.  "Carter, show us your pirate face."  This kid was in pirate heaven.  :)

We loved coming to see all the boats.

"Aye Aye Mom!"  - Carter

This kid has so many friends in the ocean.

Discoveries under the water.

Evening walk out to the edge of the reef at low tide.  Such a pretty evening.

This picture shows where the "drop off" is, where the waves break.  We were quite safe but if you go near the waves it is very dangerous.  Lots of fishermen go out at this time despite the danger.

Carter commanding the waves.  He cracks us up.
Rainbow over our village of Asan.

Lots of mangoes fell down after the typhoon so we had a lot of mangoes to eat for a few days.  I found Caleb like this.  He loves mangoes.  Also, the turban squash in the pic.

Cute boys.

Love the cuddles.

Found this huge hermit crab at gun beach.

Hiking up near Leo Palace.  The view was amazing.

Memorial Day.  This is at Asan beach across from where we live.  It was neat to see and at night each flag had a light so the view was great then too!

Caleb loves to eat.  He made his own set up in the pantry.  So efficient!  I love him!
